Whiteboard for GCC High
Please enable Whiteboard for GCC High customers!
Understand what @ J Labo is saying, however the whiteboard feature has been around in Teams for quite a while and the GCC and GCCH instances are also the most expensive for the fewest features. Microsoft should be focusing on getting features into the GCC/GCCH environments significantly faster than this. How many YEARS does it take to stand up those servers? Not a valid argument IMO. I don't expect parity or day one releases, but this is simply ignoring a group of customers who happen to be paying the most for a degraded environment where most of the features driving people to M365 are unavailable.

Latest I heard from someone internal is March 2021. But based on the past year of releases, July 2021 will probably be the release date
And to the others asking why its because GCC / GCCH features have to go through additional security checks and it has to be confirmed data and processing by servers is not shared outside the expected security restrictions (aka CPU logicial functions aren't preformed by non-GCC servers) and in order to do all of that you also have to set up specific GCC and GCCH servers to handle that incoming and outgoing traffic. Its not as easy as copy and paste of the code from the commercial server to ours.
I also agree the last of insight and sharing of this information makes it appear like MS isn't listening to us and doesn't care, but I think they were caught off guard by the usage and spike in demand from non-commercial customers so they are scaling up those resources right now
This feature would be amazing for the DIB. There are some other whiteboarding tools out there, but I have yet to find one that is both FedRAMP Moderate as well as meets the DFARS 7012 paragraphs (c), (e), and (g). Having this put into GCC High would also meet many strains that DIB companies are facing with the COVID pandemic.
I just don't understand. Why not have this in the GCC, too? We need it as much as business. We migrated gladly from Skype for Business, but now no Whiteboard, and it's not even on the roadmap. Please change this SOON!
