Pan and zoom button
The whiteboard needs a pan and zoom button to allow for easier navigation
I picked and up-voted this suggestion because it has the most votes. I also think a shortcut for panning would be extremely useful if you need to draw more than one screen of class boxes.
I was able to map zoom to the buttons of my Huion Kamvas 13 tablet, but I did not find any way to pan using the stylus.
To give a bit of context: this tablet does not support touch (only the pen). And it has a few configurable buttons on the side.
Mapping a couple of buttons to "Mouse wheel forward" and "Mouse wheel backward" solved the zoom problem.
If you guys decide to introduce a modifier key that switches between drawing and panning, Microsoft Whiteboard + Kamvas13 tablet will become significantly nicer to use.
I would hope this is not a complicated change (as you can already switch between these two modes if you turn off the "active pen" option and click around through the toolbar.
BTW, another problem here is that I cannot turn off this option for some reason (I can only turn it off using the mouse, but when I switch back to pen it turns back on by itself).
Agreed. Ctrl + Drag Stylus should pan the whiteboard.
Pan and zoom doesn't work with Huion HS64 too. I have to use mouse to pan and zoom. Would be nice is I could pan and zoom with pen while pressing ctrl/shift or space
The pan doesn't work with the wacom stylus especially. Needs some upgrade in this feature.
Have a keyboard shortcut to move between ink and navigation... maybe even one for zoom, like every other application. (CTRL+/-)
I fail to understand how this is not already a thing. Not having a pan button makes it unusable if you don't have touch support, and you shouldn't need touch support to move a canvas around.
