To be added also straight and curved lines, grouping of shapes, Text in geometrical form. Larger variations of colors and patterns to fill. Editing like bring to front or back.

Simply expanding on the Ink-to-Shape feature with more of these things like straight lines, level lines, would suffice.
Ink-to-shape items also need to erase as easily as writing, which they currently do not.
Having an imported background *stay* is needed, too.

A compass would also be nice to enable drawing parts of a circle.

Auto correction to geometrical shapes gives very uncomfortable experience, mostly it embarrasses , please give specialised buttons to draw circles, lines and other geometrical features.
Graph sheet of 10mm X 10mm is also required. -

Definitely one that needs introducing, personally I find the ruler cumbersome to use from mousepad. Should be straight forward ways to draw straight lines in general, for shapes or for axes.

One of the major missing functionalities in my opinion. I use the workaround to copy paste the process steps from Visio or PowerPoint but then it's impossible to edit the text inside. So actually both would be great - possibility to edit the copied object from other Office app and the functionality to add simple geometric figures.
