Support for AAD Conditional Access as an approved client
We use AAD Conditional Access to ensure only approved MS apps are used to access Office 365 data (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/azure/active-directory/conditional-access/technical-reference#approved-client-app-requirement). Can you please add support for this into the Whiteboard app, as our organisation (and I expect many others) will be unable to use the app until this is done.

Whiteboard iOS Conditional Access is now available in version 20.10727.0.5366 or higher. All known issues (e.g. authentication loops) have been resolved.
Note: when selecting the app to target with your policy, you may need to search “Microsoft Whiteboard” or “Microsoft Whiteboard Services” and not just “Whiteboard” for it to appear.

Why is "Authenticator" mandatory to use the Whiteboard app on iOS?

Hi Ian. Quick update from me. I've been testing this on Testflight beta and it seems to be working great. I'm really glad to hear you've taken over iOS development alongside the rest, and the app continues to get better and better each build. Keep up the great work!

Trying to use the TestFlight preview version on iPad, but I only have Microsoft Authenticator on iPhone. Because our MFA is in Azure AD I can only have it active on one device. Please reconsider how you're doing the "work" sign in to not require the Authenticator app.

We have the latest whiteboard app approved as a managed app for our Intune enrolled devices. My users iPad is marked as compliant and the app shows green for managed but we still are unable to sign in with the whiteboard app. I see this as a failure reason.
Failure reason
Access has been blocked by Conditional Access policies. The access policy does not allow token issuance. -

It would be great to have Intune SDK integrated to support CA policies and Intune App Protection Policies. Without it we aren’t able to release to our user base.

Any update on when CA will work with Whiteboard?

Seems to be a next step done by development - sign in works for me now, but unable to invite and Authenticator App pops up every 10 seconds ... good news is, "working on it" seems to be right, bad news is, it still is not working yet.

The is pretty critical to allow whiteboard to become at all adopted in our environment which is heavily restricted.

Hello, it has been almost a year since the status has changed to working on it. Any ETA for the release? On mobile devices, the browser experience for whiteboard is really far from ideal.

Is there a roadmap object for this?

https://whiteboard.microsoft.com/ can be used on any device's browser. Might work for you as a workaround.

Strangely enough, this works just fine for us now on iPhone, just not on iPad (where it would be most useful)...

So, are there any updates on this? You've been working on it since April but we still can't log in on our iPads.
Please get this done.

Do you have some update on the progress? It's really bad that we can't use the Whiteboard App due to the fact that it is not an approved app in Office365. While it is developed from Microsoft...

Any update on deployment of this? We're 8 months since I first suggested it and 4 months since the product team were working on it. We're really trying to push our users to use Whiteboard more on our Surface Hubs but the lack of availability on iPad for our users due to AAD CA support is frustrating them massively.
